About Ron – Why he’s proud to provide Salem Oregon Tile Installation for over 20 years
Tile With a Smile’s owner, Ron, has been doing Salem Oregon tile installation now for over 20 years . That’s a lot of tile, but that’s also a lot of happy customers.
How many people do you know that really love their job? Seeing peoples lives impacted so greatly by the services he provides makes Ron very happy. That’s why he named the business what he did – Tile With a Smile and we could add – with a heart too.
What Ron really loves is streamlining the process for his customers. He can take care of most of the details so you don’t have to. He’s also a master at saving you money where ever he can – that’s always a plus! Check out his checklist for where to start when planning a bathroom redo. Several years ago Ron’s Mom got sick. While caring for her in his home, he noticed how difficult the simplest task can be when your ill. Taking a five minute shower for her became a whole hour ordeal because of the way the bathroom was laid out. It was not just challenging, but it also painful. Since then he’s tried to make the focus of his Salem Oregon tile installation business on helping people who really need more functionality, who are limited in their mobility, or who are wisely thinking ahead about their mobility in the future and would like to age in place.
Why now is a great time for a bath redo?
There are more options now than ever for adding function to a bathroom, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. An added bonus is that zero threshold or ADA style bathrooms can now be designed in such a way to add, not take away from the value of your home. Check out our portfolio or some of the designs that we have collected here on Pinterest and you will see what I mean.
Financial assistance may be available to help pay for part or all of a remodel that adds functionality to a bathroom for someone with limitations. Ron has been able to help several people get help with the financing end of a bathroom remodel from government or other programs that provide assistance.
The choices for where to go to get your tile in the Salem area can be confusing. Whether you’re looking for tile at Color Tile, The Tile Gallery, Cherry City, Dal Tile, Home Depot, Lowe’s or even Tim’s Carpet. Ron can often negotiate a lower price for you or steer you in the best direction as to where to go to save you some money.
Depending on the requirements and the size of the job it may be worth it to go to Portland and check out some of the great tile stores there like Pratt & Larson, or Oregon Tile & Marble.
